Jasmine is an empathic and culturally informed African-American counselor who also has experience in counseling Bahamian teens and adults . As a resident of The Bahamas, she has sensitivity for the various cultures and ethnicities that are represented. Through compassion and understanding, she continues to assist those who are in need of counseling services by providing assistance in psychoeducation, therapeutic techniques and goal setting.
She earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health from Mississippi State University. Followed by a Master's degree in Education specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Counselor Education from Delta State University.
As a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), Chi Sigma Iota (the international counseling academic and professional society), and National Society for Leadership and Success (NSLS), she actively engages in the advancement and promotion of counseling practices and leadership in the field.
